About Rookie
Rookie is the name of a funny, scared, stupid and mischievous rat. He has one current destination in his life which is to reach the awesome piece of cheese on the table. Oh yes, a very important destination. He is skinny and has a small feet which somehow carries his weight including a fat belly. His two large front teeth and big eyes makes him look stupid and actually increases the urge to laugh at the way he looks.
Rookie was characterized after my brother, Rick. His characteristics are so funny that I was interested enough to design a character after him. He was pretty excited to know about Rookie and that the fact that he was characterized after him. When he got to know that its nothing like any super hero...but that it was a rat, he actually gave a very weird smile and said, "I am a...Rat!?"...To which my reply was more like defending myself.."Yes...a very awesome and cool rat". Well, am not telling you what the consequences were after that!
I am working on Rookie and I am using MAYA 8.5 and Photoshop CS3. The first look of Rookie is showcased below. I am trying to give it a better look. So, go on...check out how Rookie looks now...his looks will be updated as soon as possible.
